We're Here to Connect

I’m posting this photo in my feed to remind myself to take Instagram a little less seriously. I’ve become a bit hesitant about what I post. I’ve started feeling fear about showing my face (or my half face), thinking “ahh but I don’t know if it fits in the feed right now.” Geez, that’s small thinking at its finest, right? I mean, feed planning + curation is one thing, the hesitation and uncertainty I feel? Yikes! Have you ever felt that before a post, or is it just me?

Since I started working full time as a brand strategist / instagram consultant / photographer / event producer / pr director / #whattheheckdoicallmyself / wait, how many jobs do I have? — for other companies starting almost a year ago, I’ve lost my sense of fun and light-heartedness about my own feed. It’s as if I lost the ease when the platform became my place of work for others.

But we are all here to connect! And I am here to weave tales of food from mythology, history, and life. I’m here to celebrate the beauty of nature, food, forgotten stories, and travel. I also want to share what I’ve learned — be that event planning, social media strategy, or photo editing — if that is useful to you? 👀 for now, I’ll just say thank you for being here! I’m so glad you are!
