We tell stories here, but right for this week, listening is all we will do. To the Black community: we hear you, we see you, and we stand with you. Black Lives Matter.

To know the history of food and agriculture is to know with absolute clarity that white stories are basically ALWAYS stories of conquest, imperialism, thievery, greed, and destruction. We will not be silent about this.

For this week, in support of #amplifymelanatedvoices and #blacklivesmatter, we are muting our own personal content and instead will be sharing content from Black creators and accounts in an effort to give space and a platform for marginalized voices to share their stories, opinions, and experiences.

We love you. We will do better. We promise.

So much gratitude to Jessica Wilson, MS. RD. and Alishia McCullough for this challenge.
