Our treasure lies in the beehive of our knowledge. We are perpetually on the way thither, being by nature winged insects and honey gatherers of the mind. – Nietzsche

I’m dropping a little honey into your feeds tonight. As heavy as all of this can feel, I am storing some hope in my heart, tucked away in each of my ventricles like the bees store their sweet honey in the comb.

Although so many of us are separated now, I believe this time is teaching us a lot about how do be better, together. And those on the front lines, including my friends who are doctors, nurses, and home health providers, “thank you” is not even close to being sufficient. But regardless, we deeply thank you.

Please stay safe, shelter in place, and let’s flatten this curve. Loving you from afar.
