An Ecstatic Unfolding
Life is the ecstatic unfolding of your heart. ♥️
What I love about this first photo is that it is a work in progress. It is imperfect. It is true. While I was aware of the camera, I was more aware of my body, the ocean breeze, the sound of the waves, and how the pose felt for me that day. May all our lives have more of this inward, gentle attention. Ah, such magic lies there!
I have a cup full of immense gratitude for @hannah__muse and Ben of @goodvibesyogadsm who helped me breathe and unfold this week. Their dynamic classes restored me. I gave and received so many hugs. I drank in each crashing wave.
Swipe through, and the last slide is a poem by Mexican poet/ writer Octavio Paz. It ends with: “Here is the moment burning and returned / Drowning itself in itself and never consumed” which is a perfect way to end, and to begin again.
Thank you to my amazing team and clients for making this magical week possible. @shlee_holmes @juliainroses @alderwoodsantacruz @wribbn_app @kitchenwitchbonebroth @shopperscorner_sc @lallapaloozadowntown and others! My cup runneth over!
This first pose, Wild Thing, and also Falling Star pose translates in Sanskrit to “the ecstatic unfolding of your heart.” Tulum was my place to unravel my knots and begin to unfold again.
