Over 100 million years ago on the continent Pangea, these ancient flowers first bloomed.

The white Magnolia represents the moon, the yin, and the feminine. Magnolias also represent strength through massive change, since they are one of the very FIRST flowering plants to evolve here on planet Earth. They were here long before even the bees.

In times like this pandemic, sometimes it feels like we are all pushed together. A new kind of Pangea. But other times it feels like we are all oceans apart.

Through ice ages, world wars, and pandemics, these beautiful magnolia trees BLOOMED. Just think: the prehistoric magnolia trees probably glistened like this — golden and majestic as the the sun set over the great continent, Pangea.

If you’re struggling with how massively long this shelter in place period feels, picture that for a moment.

And interestingly: you may want to look into the traditions regarding Magnolia flowers and bark. They‘ve been used for centuries in Chinese medicine, and are traditionally thought to help with lung problems, chest congestion, and a runny nose.

Please stay home and healthy, friends.
